Spring / Summer 23, titled “Leap of Faith” was shot at the Centre Pompidou, through the lens of Joshua Woods with styling by Carlos Nazario. The campaign took place in the hours leading up to our debut Paris runway show.

The collection was born from the feeling of the energy of the last day of school mixed with the nervousness of the first day. Today, we want to be outside, look sexy, and feel at our best. This assortment references those codes. Ties and tailoring are a symbol of maturity. Women’s designs signal confidence. 

Leather, that’s prominent, is inspired by dystopian, darker sides of society. It’s hand worked and beautiful, but worn and reminiscent of another time - Mixing old with new and interesting. Eyewear is featured in collaboration with Jacques Marie Mage.

John grew up in the 90’s and the SS23 season reflects a minimalist approach that was prevalent at that time. “All I tried to do was honor it.”
